FAQ

Common questions about offshore estimators

Do offshore estimators understand Australian standards?

Yes. We recruit estimators with experience on Australian projects, familiar with AU drawings, measurement conventions and tender formats. Many have worked for Australian contractors for years.

What software do they use?

Your estimator works in your systems with your licences, including CostX, Buildsoft, Cubit, Bluebeam, Groundplan and Excel. We match candidates to the software you already run.

What about time zones?

Manila is in the same time zone as Perth and only two hours behind the east coast, so your estimator works your business hours with full overlap.

What if it is not the right fit?

You operate on a 30-day notice arrangement with no lock-in contract. If the fit is not right, we replace the role or you scale back with a month's notice.

How quickly can an estimator start?

Most roles are shortlisted, interviewed and started within two to three weeks.
