Who this policy covers
This policy covers Lynk Global Pty Ltd in Australia and Lynk Global Business Services Inc. in the Philippines, referred to together as "Lynk Global", "we", "us" or "our". It explains how each company handles personal information in connection with our website, enquiries, recruitment, managed staffing and Employer of Record services. Each company is responsible for its own handling of personal information under the laws that apply to it.
Lynk Global Pty Ltd handles personal information for its Australian client relationships and business activities. Lynk Global Business Services Inc. delivers Philippine recruitment, employment and operational support. Where the Philippine company processes information on behalf of the Australian company or a client under their instructions, it acts as a service provider or subcontractor and, where applicable, a personal information processor. It also acts as a personal information controller for its own recruitment, employment, payroll and statutory records. Its role depends on the activity; it is not solely a processor for every record. Additional candidate, employee or client notices may explain particular activities. Contact our privacy team if you need help identifying the company responsible for your information.

Information we collect
The information we need depends on how you interact with us. You can ask why a field or document is required. If you choose not to provide information needed to assess an application, administer employment or deliver a service, we may be unable to proceed with that activity.
- Enquiries and client contacts: name, business, role, email, phone number, correspondence and staffing requirements.
- Candidates: CVs, employment history, qualifications, skills, portfolios, salary expectations, availability, interview feedback and references.
- Employment and service administration: identity, contact, payment, payroll, tax and benefits information where needed for the arrangement.
- Website activity: IP address, browser and device details, pages viewed, interactions, referral sources and form submissions.
Some recruitment and employment information is sensitive under Philippine law, including education and health information and government-issued identifiers. We request this information only where needed and with consent or another basis permitted by applicable law. Please do not send identity documents, medical records or other unnecessary sensitive information through general enquiry forms.
03
How we collect information
We collect information when you contact us, submit a form, apply for a role, attend an interview or use our services. We may also receive information from job platforms, professional profiles, recruitment partners, referees and clients involved in a hiring process.
Website tools collect some information automatically, as explained below. If you provide another person's details, such as a referee's or an employee's, make sure you have authority to share them and let that person know about this policy. Do not send confidential information from a current or former employer unless you are authorised to do so.
04
How we use information
- Respond to enquiries, understand role requirements and prepare service proposals.
- Source and assess candidates, arrange interviews, check references and coordinate placements.
- Administer employment, payroll, benefits, billing and ongoing client support.
- Maintain records, meet legal obligations and handle requests or disputes.
- Understand website use, improve our services and measure marketing activity.
- Communicate about our services, with an option to stop marketing messages.
For Australian activities, we collect personal information reasonably necessary for our functions and use or disclose it for the purpose of collection, or another purpose permitted by applicable law. Where Australian privacy law requires consent, including for certain sensitive information, we obtain it unless a lawful exception applies. For Philippine activities, processing may rely on consent, steps towards or performance of a contract, a legal obligation, or another ground permitted by Philippine law, including legitimate interests where the legal requirements are met. Sensitive personal information has additional requirements. These grounds are not interchangeable between jurisdictions. Contact our privacy team about the basis for a particular use.
05
Who we share information with
We may share information between Lynk Global Pty Ltd and Lynk Global Business Services Inc. where needed for recruitment, employment, client administration or service delivery and permitted by applicable law. Information may also be shared with staff who need it for their work, clients involved in recruitment or service delivery, and providers supporting our operations. These include recruitment platforms, hosting and cloud services, CRM and communications tools, payroll and benefits providers, and payment services.
For recruitment and placements, we share candidate information with prospective clients with the candidate's consent. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators or authorities where required or permitted by law.
06
Overseas processing
Information handled by our Australian business may be disclosed to, or accessed by, Lynk Global Business Services Inc. and its staff in the Philippines to support recruitment, employment and service delivery. Information may also be handled in Australia and in the country of a client involved in a placement. These are separate companies, even when they provide services under the same Lynk Global brand.
Overseas handling can include remote access, hosting, support and sharing candidate information with prospective clients. Technology providers may also process information overseas; the locations depend on the provider and service. Contact our privacy team for the locations relevant to your records. Where the Australian Privacy Principles apply, overseas disclosures are subject to APP 8, including reasonable steps to protect the information and applicable accountability requirements, unless a lawful exception applies. Describing a recipient as a subcontractor does not remove those obligations. Philippine transfers remain subject to applicable Philippine privacy requirements.
07
Security and retention
We use reasonable organisational, physical and technical safeguards to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access or disclosure. No online service or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
We retain personal information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, including recruitment, employment administration, statutory recordkeeping and handling claims. The period depends on the record, the relationship and applicable legal requirements. When there is no continuing lawful need, the information is to be securely deleted, destroyed or de-identified. Ask our DPO about the retention period for your records or request deletion. If records must be retained, we will explain the reason.
09
Your rights and complaints
Depending on applicable law, you may be entitled to access or correct your information, request deletion or restriction, object to processing, withdraw consent, or obtain a portable copy of your data. These rights may be subject to exceptions. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Send requests or privacy complaints to dpo@lynkglobal.co. Explain your concern and the information involved. We may need to verify your identity before providing personal information or acting on a request.
Our DPO will review your request or complaint, ask for any information reasonably needed to handle it, and explain the outcome and next steps. We respond within the periods required by applicable law. If a request cannot be fulfilled, we will explain the reason and available complaint options, unless the law prevents us from doing so. Where a client controls the records, we will explain how to direct the request to that client.
You can also contact the National Privacy Commission in the Philippines or, where Australian privacy law applies, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. You may also have rights to complain to an authority in your own jurisdiction.
