The role
Steel and precast detailing need different experience. Start with your project type, required drawing outputs and checking process so the search targets the right background.
Develop and update Tekla Structures models from your approved design information. Specify whether your work involves structural steel or precast, and the modelling responsibilities the person will hold.
Prepare steel assembly, single-part and general arrangement drawings, or precast cast-unit drawings where required. Your team supplies templates and checks dimensions, annotations and release status.
Work through mark-ups, update models and drawings, and record questions where design information is incomplete. Your nominated reviewer resolves design decisions and approves changes.
Prepare material lists, model reports and agreed production outputs. Include NC files or specialist exports in the brief if needed; your production team checks their suitability before use.
Your team provides systems, standards and technical review. You retain responsibility for engineering certification and approval to fabricate or issue.
