About the Role
Lynk Global is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a growing Australian construction business on a full-time basis. This role would suit someone with strong Australian bookkeeping experience who is confident managing day-to-day accounts payable, reconciliations and financial processing within Xero.

About the Role
Lynk Global is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a growing Australian construction business on a full-time basis. This role would suit someone with strong Australian bookkeeping experience who is confident managing day-to-day accounts payable, reconciliations and financial processing within Xero.
Key Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices and bills in Xero
- Manage Accounts Payable
- Complete bank and supplier reconciliations
- Liaise with suppliers regarding invoices, bills and account queries
- Match invoices against purchase orders and variations
- Ensure transactions are correctly coded and filed within Xero
- Correctly process GST-inclusive and GST-exclusive transactions
- Assist with payroll processing where required
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Initial two months will involve some ad hoc administrative tasks to support the wider finance and back office team
- Previous Australian bookkeeping experience is essential
- Strong hands-on experience with Xero
- Good understanding of Australian GST and Accounts Payable
- Experience completing bank and supplier reconciliations
- Understanding of purchase orders and variations
- Sound understanding of basic accounting principles, including debits and credits
- Strong attention to detail and organisation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience within the Australian construction industry
- Experience using Wonderbuild
- Payroll experience
- Work on Australian construction projects
