About the Role
Lynk Global is looking for a Construction Estimator / Quantity Surveyor with experience in construction estimating, quantity take-offs, and cost estimation to support Australian construction projects.
In this role, you will review construction drawings, specifications, and tender documents while preparing accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bid support documentation.
You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and construction professionals supporting international projects.
Work setup may be on-site, hybrid, or remote depending on the client assignment.

About the Role
Lynk Global is looking for a Construction Estimator / Quantity Surveyor with experience in construction estimating, quantity take-offs, and cost estimation to support Australian construction projects.
In this role, you will review construction drawings, specifications, and tender documents while preparing accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bid support documentation.
You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and construction professionals supporting international projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates for roads, highways, earthworks, subdivisions, and land development projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, reports, and tender documents to define project scope and pricing requirements.
- Estimate costs for earthworks, excavation, pavements, drainage, sewer, water, and utility infrastructure works.
- Quantify and price concrete, structural steel, retaining walls, culverts, and related civil assets.
- Develop detailed cost estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor works.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for tender pricing.
- Prepare tender submissions, bid schedules, pricing breakdowns, and supporting documentation.
- Identify project risks, exclusions, assumptions, and value engineering opportunities.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to clarify scope and costs.
- Review site conditions and project requirements to validate quantities and construction methods.
- Maintain estimating databases, unit rates, material pricing, and historical cost records.
- Monitor project costs and apply lessons learned to future estimates.
- Ensure compliance with client specifications, industry standards, and company requirements.
- Prepare cost plans, budgets, and cash flow forecasts for tendered projects.
- Deliver accurate, competitive, and timely estimates to support successful bid outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
- 3+ years' experience estimating civil construction projects, including roads, highways, earthworks, or land development.
- Proven experience preparing quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and tender submissions.
- Experience estimating concrete, structural steel, drainage, utilities, landscaping, and other civil works.
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Proficiency in PlanSwift or similar estimating software.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and cost estimation skills.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience estimating projects for Australian clients.
- Strong Bluebeam Revu skills for take-offs and tender reviews.
- Experience with civil infrastructure projects, including drainage, sewer, water, and utility networks.
- Familiarity with Australian construction standards and tendering practices.
- Experience working with contractors, engineering consultants, or civil construction firms.
- Work on Australian construction projects
