Responsibilities
- Perform general accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Prepare financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements, intercompany accounts, and other financial data.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Support audit preparation and provide required financial documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and applicable standards.
- Participate in process improvements and contribute to team initiatives.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of general accounting experience
- Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- CPA license or current CPA studies is an advantage but not required
- Has knowledge of AU Taxation is a plus
