Responsibilities
- Record and maintain daily financial transactions such as invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Assist in payroll processing and ensure correct posting of related entries
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare financial reports, statements, and supporting schedules
- Manage billing, collections, and vendor payments efficiently
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and BIR regulations
- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and vendors as needed
- Maintain organized and audit-ready financial documentation
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems such as MYOB, Xero, or SAP
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
- CPA license or current CPA studies is an advantage but not required
